I spent some time pouring over all of the 2010 Black Friday Office Supply deals, and below is a list of 10 12 13 of the best that I could dig up. Please keep in mind that many of these have certain time limitations and may have limited quantities available. Happy shopping!
The Fisher Trekker Space Pen
1. I’m a huge fan of the Fisher Trekker Space Pen (see here for my review), it has been on my key chain since the day I brought it home from the National Stationery Show. I also picked up a black one that I eventually swapped this one out for, just because I liked the look of the all black version better. Regardless of the color, this is a great small pen to have at your side that you can always rely on to write no-matter what. Chrome and Silver versions are available for a slight discount, however the all black key chain enabled, steel version of the Fisher Space Pen that will normally set you back close to $30, is now available from Amazon for only $17.25.
Note: I’ve watched the price on the black Fisher Space Pen change from $17.25 to $25.07 in the last 5 minutes, so I’m not sure what the “right” price is now, but it is a pretty good deal at either price.
Pilot Varsity Disposable Fountain Pen
2. If you have never used a fountain pen before, the Pilot Varsity (my review) is a great place to start to see if you will like the writing experience. These disposable fountain pens write surprisingly smoothly on a variety of papers, and are a great introduction to the world of fountain pens, although they are not refillable unless you like to tinker with things and hack stuff up. Usually, the set of all 7 colors will set you back about $22, but you can grab the pack of 7 from Amazon for only $10.87.
3. I know that lots of you are big fans of Moleskine notebooks, so I thought you would like this deal from Amazon. Normally it would cost you about $18 for this large (5.4″ x 8.4″ 240 Page) Moleskine notebook, but you can grab it for for about half price at Amazon for $8.44.
The Lacie iamaKey USB Drive
4. I’ve been a very happy user of my LaCie iamaKey Flash Drive (review here) for a while now, and you can get a great deal on the 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB at Amazon as follows:
-4GB originally $34, now $19.66
-8GB originally $42, now $27.21
-16GB originally $61, now $44.99
Compaq S2022a 20-Inch Monitor
5. It looks like OfficeMax has plenty of 2020 Black Friday deals like the next two here. I’ve never used or reviewed this pretty sweet looking 20″ wide screen monitor, but this really is a good deal from OfficeMax. The original price is $149.99, and even on sale at Amazon it is still $139, BUT you can get it at OfficeMax really cheap for only $99.
Update: Looks like OfficeMax got this one wrong, you can still save $10 at Amazon though.
Brother P-Touch PT-1290
6. Again, not a product I’ve used before, but at this price I feel like you can’t go wrong. Everywhere I’ve checked, this label maker would cost you $35-$40, but at the 2010 OfficeMax Black Friday deal site, you can grab this Brother P-Touch PT-1290 for only $9.99.
7. Organize.com has a great deal on everything where you can save $5, $10, $25 or $50 off your order this holiday season. Just use the coupon codes here at Organize.com.
8. BuyOnlineNow has tons of great office supplies and they have a pretty cut and dry 2010 Black Friday promotion. Regardless of what you want to buy for yourself or as a gift this holiday season, you can get free shipping for all orders over $99 and everything is 10% off with the code BLKFRI10.
9. Staples has big deals going on all day Friday and Saturday only including a box of a dozen black Sharpies for only $7.99, so you can use this link to see all of their 2010 Black Friday deals.
10. OfficeDepot has a bunch of stuff, mostly technology products on sale, check out their 2010 Black Friday Deals at OfficeDepot.com! Valid 11.26-11.27!
The Uni-ball Signo
11. The Uniball Signo 207 is a great gel ink pen with ink that is resistant to tampering and just writes incredibly smooth. You can grab a box of 12 medium points (Usually $24) from Amazon for only $14.98.
Black n Red Recycled Casebound Notebook
12. I have never reviewed this particular version of the Black n’ Red series of notebooks, but I’ve used plenty of other versions to know that the quality extends across their entire line. These notebooks are usually a great quality and a great value, so this hard cover, ruled 8.25″ x 11.75″ version with 192 pages that is normally $15 can be yours for only $11.18 at Amazon.
13. I’ve had my eye on a Saddleback Leather Company briefcase for a while now, and right now in the Dave’s Deals section they have a page full of discounted items that have some very minor imperfections. Prices and selection vary, but it is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a really nice new bag that also happens to have a lifetime guarantee.
So there you have it, I am sure there are hundreds, if not thousands more 2010 Black Friday Sales on Office Supplies that I’ve missed, so if you come across a good deal somewhere, please feel free to leave a comment in the comments section below so we can all check it out! Also, make sure you are signed up for the Office Supply Geek Newsletter and Monthly Giveaway because this Sunday when it goes out we will be selecting a new winner, and I’ve got two great deals that I’ll be sharing as well.
