As part of their quarterly subscription service, Baron Fig recently released a new limited edition Vanguard notebook.  This time its the its the Baron Fig Train of Thought Limited Edition Vanguard (via the Baron Fig website) with some snazzy and somewhat interesting graphics on it…I’ll get to that interesting part momentarily.

The covers and all of the art work on the Baron Fig Train of Thought Limited Edition Vanguard have a semi-70s look and feel to me for some reason.  They are the work of New York designer Zipeng Zhu (his website, but only if you aren’t prone to seizures).

The Baron Fig Train of Thought Limited Edition Vanguard shares all of the same features of their other Vanguard notebooks, the only difference is all of the interesting art work on the front, back, and inside covers.

Here is a look at the front inside covers of each of the Baron Fig Train of Thought Limited Edition Vanguard notebooks, and I have to wonder if I’m just a weirdo, or if maybe you noticed something strange here too?

As I was looking at and admiring all of the fun art work on these Baron Fig Train of Thought Limited Edition Vanguard notebooks, the above jumped out at me.  I’m pretty sure I’m looking at a lovely alien couple holding hands, with a little poop emoji next to them? Did this lovely couple just um…well you know? Odd? Am I crazy? Is anyone else seeing this too?

So yeah, I just wanted to share these, but also make sure I wasn’t completely insane. At the end of the day, the Baron Fig quarterly releases are always fun and interesting, and this one certainly is, so its worth checking out if you are in the market for some new journals.  Head on over to the Baron Fig website to look at the Baron Fig Train of Thought Limited Edition Vanguard (via the Baron Fig website) especially if you are into alien poop! 🙂
