Christmas Wreath Pins
Pins work for both men and women and they are one of the only Christmas jewelry crafts that are versatile enough to give to children and adults alike. There is no need to determine a size that will fit as they are one size fits all making them the perfect Christmas jewelry craft for everyone!
To make the Christmas wreath pins you will need the following items:
- Safety pins
- Floral wire
- Green lace
- Red ribbon
- hot glue gun
Begin by cutting a piece of floral wire that is about 6 inches long. You will also need to cut a piece of green lace that is about 12-14 inches long to create the Christmas wreath pin.
Thread the floral wire through the green lace and bunch the lace up so that you cannot see the floral wire except on the two outside edges. Tie the floral wire together from end to end so that it creates a loop. This will be the wreath so the loop should create a circle that is the size of the wreath that you want. You can adjust the wire length to make larger or smaller wreaths but be sure to adjust the lace accordingly as well.
Using the scissors, cut a piece of red ribbon that is approximately 2 inches long. Tie the red ribbon into a bow to be glued onto the wreath at the top. You may also use pre-tied red bows for this project (these can be purchased at craft stores in the scrapbooking section.
Using the hot glue gun, glue a red ribbon to the top of the Christmas wreath and glue a safety pin to the back of the wreath. The safety pin will be used to attach the Christmas jewelry to the clothing. Allow the pin to dry for at least 10 minutes before attaching to clothing.
