Clarification on Emails and Contests

I’ve had some questions regarding the email for our twice monthly contest vs. how to get email updates for each of our posts, so I wanted to write up a quick summary that hopefully clarifies that.  I also want to apologize for any confusion due to me not making it clear here on the site.  I’ll do my best to make this simple, but if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment here or use the Contact/About us link at the very bottom of the page and I’ll do my best to respond ASAP.

We have two different email options that you can select from on the site:

1. If you want to get an email every time we write a new post, which is usually three times a week on Monday, Wedensday, and Friday just click on this link to sign up for that.

2. If you want to sign up for our twice monthly giveaway, just click on this link and fill out the entry form.  We send two emails a month to this list, usually around the 15th and 30th of each month.  These emails usually have a unique story or product not featured on the blog, and also announce the Goldspot price pack or Jetpens $25 gift card winner.  Be sure you check those emails because if you are the winner that is the one and only place where you will be notified.  If you unsubscribe to this you will take yourself out of the monthly contest as well, but once you are signed up,  you don’t have to do anything else other than read the emails and respond to it if you are the winner.  To be eligible for the giveaway you must be a US resident, click here to see our explanation of why that’s the case.

You can definitely be subscribed to both or just one,  it’s completely up to you.  As I said, I’m hoping that clarifies everything but please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
