Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case
You might remember the write on and wash off Doodle by Stitch Tablecloth that we reviewed not too long ago, which was a big hit with our readers. Today we have another cool offering from the folks at Doodle by Stitch that offers the same cool writable and washable cloth in the form of a case for your tablet via (Doodle by Stitch and Amazon). A big thanks goes out to the nice folks at Doodle by Stitch for providing this review sample free of charge.
Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case and Markers
The Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case was designed to fit an iPad, however I can tell you that as a non-iPad owner, my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 fits snugly and perfectly inside this unique tablet case. In addition to coming with 5 colored washable fabric markers, it also has an elastic pen loop on one side and a business card holder on the front.
Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case with Business Card Holder
As you can see here, the front of the Doodle by Stitch Tablet case has a convenient business card pocket that can hold a minimal number of cards. On the side you can also see that there is an elastic pen loop for your favorite pen. In this case I’ve got the Fisher Space Pen with Stylus stuck in the pen loop for multiple reasons. For starters, it just makes sense to include a pen in the pen loop that has a stylus built in that will work with your tablet. Additionally, the Fisher Space Pen with Stylus has no clip, so it was impressive to see how strong the elastic here is…no need for a clip to hold your pen at all! I love the additional details here of the ruled cover that also includes 3 hole punch marks on the edge.
Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case Side view
In addition to the standard rulings and three hole punch marks on the case, if you take a closer look at the edges of the case, it also has printing to make it look like the side of an actual notebook with multiple sheets. In this picture you can also get a sense that the back of the case is slightly different than the front of the case.
Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case Galaxy Note 10.1
Here you can see that the back cover of the Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case has a graph paper design instead of the standard ruled lines pattern found on its front cover. This picture also shows my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.11 tablet sliding in very easily.
Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case Written on
So here is where we have fun with the Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case. Writing on a piece of cloth has an inherently “wrong” feel to it and I feel like I should get yelled at and apologize to my mom for doing so. Knowing it should wash off though is a relief, but it still presents a small bit of uncertainty because it just doesn’t seem natural to write on fabric. If you take a closer look at the picture though, it points out the pen loop and business card holder.
Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case Graph Paper Back
Again, here is the back of the Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case, showing off the graph paper styled cover pattern. Not much to say here about it so just enjoy the visual and my extremely sub-par “artwork” in the picture above.
Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case After a Washing
Hopefully anyone reading this blog has a certain amount of trust in what I write here, because you are going to have to take my word for it that this picture was taken after the Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case was washed and put in the dryer. I put it in the washer on the setting for warm water and put it through the delicate dry cycle in my dryer and it came out looking brand new. No residual effects of having written on it and barely any notice of it being impacted by being run through the washer and dryer. The only minor impact of the washing and drying was that when unzipped, the teeth of the zipper seemed to point outwards a little bit more than before it had been washed. This had absolutely no impact on it being able to zip up nicely though. Inside the case there is a slight amount of padding and the lining feels like a smooth micro-fiber type material that should be great for keeping your screen protected. Check out the Doodle by Stitch Tablet Case via (Doodle by Stitch and Amazon) for a truly unique case for your tablet.
