Email Options for Posts and Contests

Click on the above instructional image to be taken to the actual sign up forms.

A few weeks ago we had an issue with our emails, so the reason for this post today is two fold.

First, I want to thank all of you that patiently and politely dealt with the two extra emails we mistakenly sent while we sorted out that issue.  And to be honest, I guess the word “issue” makes it sound bad, it was just a matter of literally checking off the wrong box on a setting screen…lesson learned. 🙂

Second, there was enough feedback from people that actually wanted some additional options for getting emails from us so we set up a new method for subscribing to posts which you can see in the screen shot above.  Clicking on the image above, or the email icon in the upper right of the page with our social media icons will bring you to a page with the following options:

  • Email Me Every New Post – We usually post about three times a week, so that is the number of emails you can expect from this option every week.  This email will not sign you up for our monthly giveaways.
  • Email Me a Weekly Post Summary – With this option you will receive one email per week from us that contains all of the posts for that week.  This email will be sent on Friday each week.  This email will not sign you up for our monthly giveaways.
  • Twice Monthly Newsletter and Giveaway – This will sign you up for our twice monthly email that is usually sent on a Sunday, around the 15th and 30th of each month.  These emails contain an announcement of our giveaway winner as well as special content and occasional exclusive offers not found in the other emails.

Please note that you are able to sign up for all three options, although signing up for the “Every New Post” and “Weekly Post Summary” will be redundant, and also not enter you in our giveaway.  Those two options will contain the same content, but will be very different from the “Newsletter and Giveaway” emails.

Thanks again to everyone for their support, feedback, and patience while we sorted through the issues.
