In Spring 2011, LG launched their Cinema 3D range – its pioneering home entertainment range, which includes cutting edge technology and innovative design.
In August they announced their latest addition to which we’ll see the latest model showcase full nano technology.
The LW980T series’ 3D TV monitor is available in two sizes – 47 or 55 inch – both offering passive 3D and Smart TV technology, in a 1920×1080 resolution with a motion clarity index of 1000Hz.
“The unique Nano Full LED screen creates brighter, clearer and smoother pictures; and allows the TV design to be slimmer than ever before,” said a spokesperson for LG, adding that the latest addition ‘provides the best in 2D, 3D and SmartTV.’
Cinema 3D TV Monitors
Expanding on their already extensive 3D offering – from cinema to Smartphones; including the LG Optimus 3D – LG introduced to the world its first flicker-free 3D TV range of monitors in April, which included the LW450U, LW550T and the LW650T series. Now, the LW980T series can be added to the list.
3D At Home
Using passive, i.e. polarised glasses, weighing in at a mere 16 grams – almost half the weight of conventional 3D glasses – users are provided with a comfortable 3D viewing experience in home-appropriate monitor dimensions ranging from 32 inches to 55 inches.
When you buy a Cinema 3D TV, you are provided with an extensive seven pairs of polarised glasses; extras pairs costing only £2 each. The frames are ergonomic and designed with your viewing pleasure in mind; lightweight and comfortable, they do not require batteries, charging or synchronisation with your Cinema 3D TV.
With several polarized glasses, it means that friends and family can enjoy the magic of 3D TV together in its stunning full HD capacity.
Clarity
The Cinema 3D TV is more than two times brighter than other conventional 3D monitors, by way of using LG’s 3D technology, you are provided with brighter and clearer images.
This technology is able to counteract any dimness that can occur within 3D images through a special, thin film that covers the screen. In addition, the 3D monitors also produce exceptionally clear and vivid images in 2D.
Energy and Money Saving
With LG’s Super Energy Saving technology, the Cinema 3D TV uses a lower power consumption compared to that of LED and CCFL monitors, without any image loss – saving you energy and thus money.
