Ever cooked scampi at home?

If you’ve ever been to a pub there’s a good chance you are familiar with the deliciousness that is breaded scampi. Made with headless, shelled shrimps which are then breaded and shallow fried, this most simple of fish recipes is incredibly moreish and a real hit with the kids. Making them at home couldn’t be easier; all it takes is a little preparation time and, once the oil is hot, a cooking time of about 20 seconds. No excuses then, time to get cooking!

There are a number of different ways you can liven up a portion of scampi too, just by adding things to the breadcrumbs. In fact, the great thing about cooking this type of dish is the little things you can do to liven it up along the way.

A simple web search will bring endless recipe results for scampi, so really all you have to do is scan which versions look most appetizing and start making. Knorr also have some lovely fish recipe ideas (including scampi) for you to get your teeth into!
