Expanding on their already extensive 3D offering – such as the world’s first flicker-free 3D TV range, the LW450U, LW550T and LW650T series – LG have now taken their Smartphones to another dimension.
Here we focus on the Optimus 3D and see what it can offer its users.
Optimus 3D
The Optimus 3D is the world’s first 3D dual-core, dual-channel and dual-memory handset.
Allowing users to view 3D images without the use of 3D glasses, it features a dedicated 3D button meaning users can seamlessly switch between 2D and 3D viewing quickly and easily.
SIM free, this unlocked Smartphone offers the best of both worlds to those who demand all the standard features with the added bonus of the latest in 3D technology and innovation.
No Glasses
With the Optimus 3D, there is no need for 3D glasses.
Using a ‘parallax barrier’, the 3D effect is created.
The barrier shows your left and right eye slightly different images and in turn, you get a crystal clear 3D image in all aspects of the handset’s features, including console-like gaming, images, videos and even simple aspects such as the navigation screen.
Features
When LG designed this product, they did not settle at 3D technology to impress; the Optimus 3D also houses their biggest screen to date, measuring in at 4.3 inches wide with a WVGA resolution touchscreen.
With two rear 5mp cameras, you are able to shoot videos and images in either/or 2D/3D at HD quality of 720p or 1080p.
Plus, once you’ve made your innovative videos and images, you can share them with your friends (see below).
Share
The Optimus 3D makes sharing easy with a dedicated link to YouTube 3D as part of the handsets design.
In addition, you can share your 3D and 2D videos and images on a compatible television via the HDMI interface (cable) or DLNA output.
