Anh, a longtime reader of the blog recently sent some photos over of an office supply that was found in a co-workers desk that I was unable to identify, and I thought it would be fun to see if anyone here could help identify what it is and what purpose it serves. Here are some photos, and to make it more interesting, the first person to leave a comment explaining what it is as well as a link to some proof to verify that claim will win a Stainless Steel Sharpie Pen. If you don’t have a way to prove your claim, then I’ll offer the Stainless Steel Sharpie Pen up to the best guess.
Here is the first image…remember to leave a comment with some proof to back your claim of what specifically this item is:
Apparently the item acts as some sort of a punch, but it leaves a square hold behind instead of a circular one.
In order to get a square hole though, you need to fold the paper over because of the guard that is on the front of this mystery office supply item:
One more of the paper
And more of the hole when you don’t fold it over
A shot from the front
A shot from behind
And the last photo
So lets hear your best guess or just tell us specifically hat this thing is for….drop a note in the comments below if you have any idea.
