It’s true that as we age, we’ll look to just about anything that will help smooth out those wrinkles and tone out those laugh lines. Wrinkles are generally one of the first cosmetic signs we have that we’re getting older. And because many people panic when they start to see folds of their skin deepen, cosmetic companies and manufacturers have answered back with many anti wrinkle creams.

There are thousands of anti wrinkle creams on the market. Many of them work and some of them don’t, and just about every one of them come with a hefty price tag. Because of this, many women might be relieved to know that there are plenty of ways to get a rich and luxurious anti wrinkle cream using items found right in the pantry. Here are three simple recipes that will give you a refreshing anti wrinkle cream that you can make yourself!

The first homemade anti wrinkle cream comes from an egg. First, one egg white needs to be beaten until it becomes stiff. Then, these ingredients need to slowly be added: 2 tablespoons of cucumber juice; 1 tablespoon lemon juice; 1 tablespoon of rum or brandy; and a touch of baking soda or sodium benzoate. Once the mixture is well combined, it should be left in the refrigerator for at least an hour but preferably two. It can then be massaged into the face and neck for a cool and homemade anti wrinkle cream! After sitting with the mixture on the face for 15 minutes, it can be rinsed off and patted dry.

If you don’t have any cucumber juice on hand, this recipe can be made using the same ingredients, but substituting the juice of cucumber for 3 tablespoons of cucumber. The egg white does not need to even be blended using this recipe because everything can just be thrown into the blender and pureed until a cream forms. Also, when doing the egg/cucumber wash using this method, the mixture should also be left to chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before being massaged onto the face and neck. Also with this method, the mixture should be left on for 30 minutes before it can be rinsed off with some warm water and another sprinkling of lemon juice.

For those who don’t mind putting a little more elbow grease into their homemade anti wrinkle cream, there is also a beeswax recipe that will create a beautiful anti wrinkle cream. This recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of beeswax to be melted over low heat. Once it’s melted, add these ingredients: 2 tablespoons almond oil; 4 tablespoons apricot extract; and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Once this mixture has been combined it also needs to sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours before being rubbed onto the skin.

With these simple recipes for homemade anti wrinkle creams, there’s no longer any need to stop wasting money on manufacturer’s products that contain the exact same ingredients! Plus, you can have them on hand for whenever you need them!
