If you have a big event coming up in your life, such as a wedding or prom, you have a lot of planning to do. From choosing the perfect dress and accessories to deciding how to wear your hair, these decisions can be difficult and time-consuming to make. Another common concern before the big event is your weight. If you’re looking to drop a few pounds to look great, there are a few ways that you can go about doing so.

First, you should know that not all methods designed to help you get super skinny fast are safe. In fact, following many of the fad diets that are out there today can actually put your health in jeopardy. You should always discuss any potential diet and exercise plan with your doctor.

The first step you can take in becoming super skinny fast is to make sure you’re drinking enough water and cut your salt intake. These steps will help your body to stop retaining fluid, which can make you appear larger than you really are. The weight you will drop through taking these steps is commonly referred to as “water weight”, and can add up to as much as 5 pounds total. Drinking water can also help you distinguish between the times when you are truly hungry and the times when you are actually just thirsty.

Next, you will need to cut the amount of calories you take in per day. Limit your calories to no more than 1200 per day, but do not drop below 1000 calories per day unless your doctor recommends that you do so. Dropping too many calories per day can not only jeopardize your health, but it can also impede your weight loss by tricking your body into thinking you’re starving. This will cause your body to conserve energy, which will mean you will not burn as many calories or lose any weight.

Adding exercise to your daily routine is the next step you should take. An hour of daily exercise is enough for most people. Make sure your exercise routine includes cardio exercises such as jumping rope or running. These exercises are designed to elevate your heart rate and burn energy and therefore calories.

Remember that any diet plan that promises huge amounts of weight loss per week is likely not safe. This includes fasting, liquid-only diets, and the use of laxatives to purge excess weight. Although people vary, you should not try to lose more than 2-3 pounds per week unless your doctor approves it. However, it is still possible to become super skinny fast. With the proper methods, it is possible to lose over 10 pounds in 2 weeks from actual weight loss and water weight loss combined. As an added bonus, you will get into the habit of eating right and working out, which will make it easier for you to keep the weight off past the date of the big event. You will also be able to continue your weight loss after that day if you so desire.
