One of the best ways to gain readers and traffic to your blog is by using video posts. With the competition for blog readers at the level it is, only blogs that stand out and offer unique content are the ones that end up being successful. One of the most popular types of content that people often either look for or take notice of is video content. Adding video content that others have created and uploaded to the internet is fairly easy and somewhat beneficial. Now that the video is complete, don’t worry about figuring out how to host the video on your own domain and how to manage how it is displayed. The easiest thing to do is to simply upload it to YouTube and then use the embed code available there to place it in a blog post on your blog. There are a couple of benefits to doing it this way including getting your video post out in front of the eyes of millions of viewers via YouTube, and remember, your video has your URL splashed across the bottom of it because you watermarked it, right? Another benefit is that videos are quite large files and when displayed on your blog this way with YouTube hosting it, it isn’t taking up any room on your web hosting space.
Adding your own video post to your own blog isn’t that complicated at all. In fact, when you follow these steps, you not only end up with a video post of your own on your blog, but you end up with a video post that may do some great marketing and advertising of your blog all on it’s own. Video posts get a great deal of attention from blog readers, you can be included with the popular blogs that take this route too… and you can do so very easily.
