What good is a website that has no decent content in it? The purpose of any site is to inform its readers about a certain topic. Now, if your niche or topic all about web design and you are a web designer by profession and talent, it is often understood that you might probably be not so good in the writing aspect of a website. We all have our own expertise and if writing web design articles is not your forte, then you have to go out of your way to find and get some good articles to populate your site. You might think that you do not need a well written article or two to post on your website if you are focusing on web design. After all, it’s all about your portfolio of amazing web design samples that you want people to notice. Well that is just fine but the truth is, at least for search engine ranking purposes, you need well written articles to help keep your website fresh and relevant to the search engines. After all, search engines can still be best fed with good content through articles because their search spiders were designed to crawl text more than images. So where can you find some good web design articles? Here are a few ways you can follow: 1. Article directories
Article directories are usually the first resort of webmasters if they want to find articles about any topic that are also free to begin with. It will not cost you a thing, but the only d
rawback to it is that you do not get the sole rights to these articles. What this mean is that other webmasters can also get the same article and post it on their website. You don’t get exclusivity but at least you get good content for your site. 2. PLR articles PLR or private label rights articles are also quite popular. They cost money but they are always dirt cheap. Again, there is a drawback to this. Even though you get the rights to these articles, most of the articles were poorly written and just good to increase the number of posts on your site. Nothing more. So don’t expect to find cleverly and professionally written articles in these PLR bundles. 3. Hire a writer If you want a completely original article that is also good to read and highly informative, then you will have to shell out a little bit more money. But don’t think of it as an expense. Think of it as an investment because that article will remain on your site for as long as you want and for sure, it is well written and more engaging than free articles. People will want to read more of these kinds of articles and they will respond more favorably to your site through the help of these professionally written articles.
It is always a good idea to invest on an originally written set of web design articles, but if your budget is limited then go for article directories and other free options. As much possible, just rewrite these articles so you can avoid posting only duplicate contents on your website.
