High intensity interval training is the activity of doing a high intensity exercise followed by a low intensity one. An example would be sprinting for 20 seconds, walking for 30 seconds after that and repeat.

Complexes are the use of weights as a circuit to burn a large amount of calories in a short period of time. This makes it one of the most efficient and best methods for fat loss. Simply choose a couple of barbell exercises which can be easily transitioned into and do them for repetitions.

An example of a complex would be: Deadlift, barbell row, power clean, military press and finally front squats. Repeat this cycle 6 times for 1 set. Do as many sets as you can. Note that the weights used in complexes is generally very low.
