How to Mail a Notebook Moleskine Postal Notebook

Moleskine Postal Notebook

The Moleskine Postal Notebook is one of those nice little surprises that I completely forgot I even ordered from Amazon.  I pre-ordered this back in early March and it finally arrived a few days ago.  Essentially, it is a small 8 page notebook that is encased in a mailable envelope.  The front of the “envelope” has spaces for you to write your mailing address on it, and is a fairly sturdy stock, on the level of an index card, so it should hold up very well to mailing it via the postal system.  Obviously there is no need to mail this if you don’t want to though.

The one you see pictured here that I purchased is the Tea Green color, although its pretty pale and almost manila folder looking, I assure you it does have a bit of a green tinge to it.  There are plenty of other colors available though so don’t be discouraged by my selection of such a poor photographing color, that in person looks much better.

I  have not “tested” this by mailing it yet because I want to save it for some yet to be determined occasion, but it seems like it would be a pretty cool way to write a nice letter to someone.  You get the benefit of sending a small notebook, but without the awkward bulky feeling of having to pack it into your own envelope.

I’m sure that many of you out there have a more immediate need/use for the Moleskine Postal Notebook but for now I’ll be sitting on this until I find a fun use for it, but I just wanted to share it with everyone today since I do think that the concept itself is pretty awesome.
