In June 2011, a study showed that 80% of consumers preferred the overall 3D experience through LG’s Cinema 3D range as opposed to that of its competitors, Samsung and Sony.
From 3D TVs , lightweight glasses and the ultimate surround sound, LG offers a new way of entertaining in your own home.
Below we take a close look at the range and what it could offer you, your family and friends.
Pioneering Home Entertainment
In early 2011, LG launched its pioneering new home entertainment range which included the Cinema 3D&™series – the pinnacle of cutting edge technology.
The range was available from April last year through major retailers.
The Cinema 3D series reflected LG’s ongoing commitment to innovation, design and functionality; proving that something that works, can also be beautifully designed.
What made this series so groundbreaking was LG’s introduction to the world’s first flicker-free 3D TV range.
3D At Home
Weighing only 16 grams – almost half the weight of conventional 3D glasses – the polarised 3D glasses provide a comfortable 3D viewing experience in screen dimensions ranging from 32 to 55 inches.
Upon purchase, you are provided with seven pairs of polarised glasses, with additional pairs cost a mere £2 each.
Lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time; the frames are ergonomically designed with your viewing pleasure in mind.
Unlike many 3D glasses, they do not require batteries, charging or synchronisation with your Cinema 3D TV reducing weight and technical complications.
Clarity
The Cinema 3D TVs are more than two times brighter than the conventional 3D monitors available on the market at present.
LG’s 3D TVs use their own innovative technology providing you with brighter and clearer images for your viewing pleasure.
By way of this technology, dimness that can often occur within 3D images is counteracted through a specialised, fine film that coats the screen.
In addition, the 3D monitors also produce exceptionally clear and vivid 2D images.
Money Saving
The Cinema 3D series utilises LG’s Super Energy Saving technology.
Using a lower power consumption compared to that of LED and CCFL monitors, the Cinema 3D TV uses a lower power consumption which not only saves you energy but money as well.
