Men’s jumpers are a key piece in any stylish man’s wardrobe, and shouldn’t just be reserved for autumn and winter. They are a year-round staple that will work with many of the new trends for spring too.
Jumpers are particularly ideal at this time of year when making the transition into the new season as you can incorporate the key spring colours and patterns into your wardrobe without getting cold!
For spring, jumpers are still central to many of the major trends including nautical, colour blocking and Navajo influences.
Look out for jumpers in bold shades of orange, cobalt and green, and wear yours with vibrant trousers to channel the colour blocking look. Alternatively, River Island has a number of bright colour block jumpers that are a one-piece essential to work the trend.
Striped knitwear is also a must-have for this season’s new take on nautical style. River Island adds unique design touches to their knitwear including hoods, elbow patches and contrast pockets which set them apart from other high street retailers. Wear yours with jeans or chinos for casual cool style.
Navajo and Aztec prints are sticking around this spring, with Aztec print jumpers an easy way to wear the trend now. Of course plain jumpers in muted shades of black and grey are always in style and are a wardrobe staple that every man should own.
Whatever men’s jumpers you choose, layer yours up with a coat or jacket now and use in place of one as we get further into spring.
