Natural remedies to protect the skin from sunburn during summer

During summer, the scorching heat of the sun often makes the skin look red and dull. In such situation, the only remedy you may think of is to avoid getting out during daytime. However, if you have a job it is quite impossible to do so. What should you do then? Look for the remedies that protect your skin from sunburn.  

Changing food habits to prevent skin from getting burned:-

Nowadays, different kind of cosmetics has come up that can protect your skin during summer and help you in gaining glowing skin. Though these cosmetic products do belong to reputed brands but it may not suit your skin type always. Rather it may cause side effect to a certain level. To avoid such chemical side effects over your skin, make a few changes in your regular food habit. Some of the changes are:-  

      Increase water intake quantity – Make a habit of drinking lots of water            during day time. You can even add raw fruits like watermelon and pomegranate   that has water quantity in it. Among vegetables, tomato is another important vegetable that provides UV protection to the skin.

Avoid taking spicy food – Spicy foods usually contain oil and chemical that effect on the skin adversely. Ultimately it leads to irritation over the skin.

Green tea – Make a habit of taking 2 cups of green tea on a regular basis. It protects the skin from getting affected by UV rays.

Fatty acids – Fish oil contain Omega 3 fatty acids that reduce the risk of skin rashes during summer.

These are some of the essential natural products that can actually help you in protecting your skin from getting burned in day light. Apart from these products, there are few natural remedies that help your skin to remain healthy and beautiful.

Natural remedies to cure skin problem:-

Though the intake of these natural products will obviously bring some changes to your skin, still there are a few precautions you should adopt. These changes will prevent you from facing skin allergies in summer. Hence taking a look into these natural remedies can be beneficial for you:-

·         Change your clothing style – opt for cotton clothing that covers up your skin during day time. Cotton is considered as the most appropriate fabric to prevent UV rays of the sun to affect the skin directly.

·         Take cold shower or apply cold water – if you have been exposed to the sun for long hours, make it a point to take cold water shower after coming back from the outside. You can even splash cold water over your face to prevent the skin from developing any rashes. Avoid applying warm water over the skin as it may cause pain over the sunburned areas.

·         Aloe vera gel – aloe vera gel is always considered as the most suitable naturally made lotion that you can apply over your skin, especially over the area that has been affected by sunburn.

Once you start adopting these remedies, dead skin will start coming out. However, don’t try to peel it off with force as this will expose the underneath skin ultimately leading to pain. Once you start following these procedures, you live now onwards with healthy glowing skins even during summer.
