There are a few small office supply related items that I’ve been meaning to share so I figured I’d round them all up in one short Friday post today.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet

For those of you that were let down when we had to scrap our proposed segment(s) on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet with Handwriting Recognition via the S Note application, we have good news.  The software has been updated and we now have one of these tablets in our hands again ready to do some reviews.  Not exactly sure how they will work, but we may be planning a series of posts for weekends or other days that we don’t typically have reviews posted.

Moleskine Postal Notebooks

The Moleskine Postal Notebook is now available in pastel colors, which look pretty nice for the summer.  We have not done a review of these…yet, but will definitely be doing so.  As per their description on Amazon, these notepads:

“have pop out flaps which enable users to transform their packet into an envelope with handy address line on the exterior. With a strong cardboard cover and eight plain inner pages, the Postal Notebook is perfect for writing long letters to loved ones. The pages are stitch bound in the same colour as the cover, and are ivory-coloured and made from 100gsm paper.”

I will be interested to get my hands on some 100 gsm Moleskine paper to test it out.

Next, for our friends in the North East, there are two events going on this weekend that might be of interest to you:

March 15, 6:00-8:00pm at the Morris Museum in Morristown, NJ

March 16, 10:00am-5:00pm at the Short Hills Mall, Short Hills, NJ

An event to showcase the art of writing and writing as art!

For tickets please call 973-971-3706

Join Paradise  Pens, at the Morris  Museum  for an evening that explores the “Mechanics of Writing.”  The evening will highlight objects from the Museum’s  Guinness Collection and presentations from nationally recognized calligrapher Kathy Milici  and Faber  Castell Pens.  On March 16th the Morris Museum  will  be on-hand in the Short Hills Paradise  Pen store and a portion of Paradise Pens proceeds for March 16th will  be donated to the Morris  Museum.
