It was an exceedingly correct decision for me to choose Jammu and Kashmir as my holiday destination. Jammu and Kashmir is the northern most state of the Indian Republic. I chose to go there because I heard of its virginal natural beauty and thought to experience it firsthand. The state is an example of unparalleled beauty and charm.

I went to check out the Pangong Lake in Ladakh. It was merely a five hour drive from Leh. Though the roads were rough and slippery, the pleasant weather helped me overcome the hardship. I took a permit to get to Pangong. My travel agent at Leh helped me get one. When I first looked at Pangong I felt like jumping into it and swimming my heart out of joy. But it is a saline water lake and thought I was mad with excitement. I had the time of my life when I was at its shore. You must visit Pangong once in your life.
