Want to bring Rover or Kiki along for a bite to eat but not sure what restaurants in Florida are pet friendly? You’ll be glad to know that more and more Florida restaurants are beginning to open their doors to pets.

Many of Florida’s pet friendly restaurants are clustered near the metropolitan areas and cities which cater to tourists. While your chances of finding a pet-friendly restaurant are generally greatest in cities around the Tampa Bay Area, Orlando, Miami, Southwest Florida, and Panama City – along the Gulf Coast beaches in the Panhandle – you can find at least one or two pet-friendly restaurants in most every large city in Florida.

Fortunately for those who want to dine with their furry friends, there are simply too many pet-friendly restaurants in Florida to list in just one article. So here’s a small, diverse sampling of some of the pet-friendly restaurants you can expect to find in The Sunshine State:

Five Guys Burger at 700 Pier Park Drive Suite 100 in Panama City Beach is part of a Washington D.C.-area-based chain that has become one of the most popular burger joints in the country. Five Guys’ made-to-order hamburgers, copious French fry servings, and handfuls of peanuts given out to patrons to munch on while waiting for their hot, custom orders.

Clearwater Wine Company at 483 Mandalay Avenue is steps from the famous white sands of Clearwater Beach.

Bonnie Bakes is located in The Village of the Arts in Bradenton. Offering a diverse array of baked goods, Bonnie Bakes is located less than 1 hour from Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Tampa.
