To pay tribute to pilots of 1940s who first used wrist watch as an instrument during their missions, Bell & Ross has presented the new Vintage collection. With high polished finishing and luxurious profiles, this new Vintage collection poses as an elegant interpretation of those original professional watches. The flawless finish tells us that Bell & Ross paid attention to every detail when making these gorgeous pieces. Watches in the new Vintage collection share not a few features. And the main shared features are as follows: Firstly, they retain the conventional round-shaped case, which is meant to remind us the wristwatches in 1940s. And the case has been improved to offer optimal comfort for the wearers. Secondly, they are fitted with sapphire crystals that have the original domed shape but are much stronger than the original crystals thanks to the modern production techniques. Thirdly, inspired by aviator instruments, the dials have improved layout and are easier to read.Besides, they are either powered by BR 123 that displays hours, minutes and seconds or BR 126 that offers chronograph functions. Both BR 123 and 126 are high quality Swiss-made mechanical movements. As mentioned earlier, this new Bell & Ross collection sports perfect finishes. The stainless steel case, with refined polished finishing, gives off a soft sheen that brings an elegant touch to the watch itself Two dials come with conventional finishes. The silver dial, with fine sunburst pattern, reflects soft opalescent sheen, with the steel hands, numerals and index done in tone to tone steel. The black dial displays a nice contrast between the black and plain steel and thus offers very good readability that is required by professional pilot watches. The new Vintage Officer watches are completed by an alligator strap. With low-keyed luxury, vintage touch, they will surely sought after fans of Bell & Ross watches.
