Every year I make it a point to get out to the National Stationery Show at the Javitz Center in New York. Its a great place to see lots of new and cool office supplies, as well as meet many of the awesome people that I correspond with during the year.    The 2014 National Stationery Show runs from Sunday, May 18th through Wednesday the 21st.

Pencil Notebook Cover – Image via MoMa

Just glancing through the site of exhibitors I came across this really cool notebook.  The cover has pencils lined up on it, but there is also a slot where you can tuck away your own actual pencil.  Its pretty much like pencil camouflage.  This particular item is from the MoMa, but a great example of the types of things you can expect to see at the show.

Social Media at the National Stationery Show

In past years I have attended the show and reported back in the following days and weeks to share what I found there and followed up with reviews. This year I’m hoping to make it more interesting and interactive by sharing things with you live as I see them.  The plan is to post live pictures and updates on some of the awesome booths, products and people that I run across while I’m there for the day on Monday.  If you follow on Twitter or Instagram , expect to see lots of pictures.  As usual though I do also hope to have some reviews of products in the days and weeks after the show.  It usually takes at least a week or two to actually get any products to review since vendors are not supposed to give out product on the show floor.

If you will be at the show yourself feel free to get in touch, I’d love to say hi and/or visit your booth…that goes for readers of the site and vendors alike.  If you cant make the show yourself, but you have a request for me to stop by a particular booth to check something out and take some pictures, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
