Writers block? Everyone runs into that wall off and on when they are writing articles. It’s like you’ve been writing and writing and writing and now you’ve hit a brick wall and you can’t think of a single thing to write about. So what do you do? How can you find more things to write about that is going to keep people coming back to read more? Well, what about using your own knowledge and experiences in live as your resources? Here are a few tips on how you can do just that. First go ahead and open up a blank word document. Sometimes that blank screen can seem a bit overwhelming but look at it for a minute or two and think of it as a big beautiful open canvas just waiting for you to fill it up with your thoughts. Think of the that canvas as having endless possibilities at your fingertips.

Once you overcome that lost feeling start making a list of all the things that your really enjoy doing and all of the things that you are really interested in. These can even be things that you might think that no one else may be interested in. Just because you don’t think someone else would be interested in them does not mean this is true and that you can’t come up with an interesting article about something you have put

down on your list. At this point and time don’t worry about constructing any sentences just list words or some short phrases. You could also talk to those who you are close to and ask them what they might think you would write about. What they think they might expect from you and what they might think you could teach them. You might be very surprised at the things that others might think you have to offer that is interesting to them. You can also start a journal. Journals are extremely helpful in the fact that you can use them to write down events that happen to you on a daily basis and that you can look back upon. These things may after you revisit them, not look as boring or mundane as you first thought they were. Just write about your life, the things you do well, the things you are learning to do, you might be surprised at the things you might discover to write about. Another thing to do is make a change in your everyday scenery. Go and get out and see new places and try new things, this is a great way for you to add some depth and color to your life and it might also help you get a jump start on your writing.

Note: Whatever you do, try not to put too much pressure on yourself when it comes to writing. If you have to, take a day off from it and come back refreshed the next day.
