We all know that a good education is of a great importance. If you are looking for the right MBA program that fits you best, you are facing a big challenge. So much matters on which college you want, how much the total costs will be, if that college wants to accept you…
Do you wonder now what the best MBA programs in the US are? I’ve conducted a search according to various criteria, and here is what I have come up with.
Best business schools
The path towards an MBA in business starts with finding the school that fits you best. The best schools, checked for their reputation in international business, entrepreneurship, accountancy, marketing, finance and leadership are:
- Stanford University (Stanford, California)
$ 48,921 per year (full time), 740 students - Northwestern University or Kellogg (Evanston, Illinois)
$ 46,791 per year (full time), 1254 students - University of Pennsylvania or Wharton (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)
$ 44,480 per year (full time), 1611 students
Best schools in education
Every teacher must first be a student. The criteria tested for these schools are elementary teaching, special education and administration.
- Vanderbilt University or Peabody (Nashville, Tennessee)
$ 1,504 per credit, 705 students - Stanford University (Stanford, California)
$ 36,303 per year (full time), 379 students - Teachers College at Columbia University (New York, New York)
$ 1,085 per credit, 4818 students
Best engineering schools
Before you can make your mark as a businessman, you must find a school that helps you build up your skills. We tested for aerospace engineering, chemical engineering and nuclear engineering.
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, Massachusetts)
$ 36,140 per year (full time), 2706 students - Stanford University (Stanford, California)
$ 38,400 per year (full time), 3374 students - University of California (Berkley, California)
$ 0 for instate students, $ 15,006 per year for outstate students, total of 1774 students
Best law schools
A good lawyer needs a good school to hone his skills. We tested criteria for environmental law, intellectual property law and tax law.
- 1. Yale University (New Haven, Connecticut)
$ 46,000 per year (full time) , 588 students
- 2. Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts)
$ 41,500 per year (full time), 1730 students
- 3. Stanford University (Cambridge, Massachusetts)
$ 42,080 per year (full time), 539 students
Best medical schools
If you want to excel in medicine, you better find that college that offers you the best. Checked for family medicine, pediatrics and women’s health, the best schools are:
- Harvard (Boston, Massachusetts)
$ 39,000 per year, private, 728 students - Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, Maryland)
$ 38,000 per year, private, 473 students - University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)
$ 41,036 per year, private, 614 students
While these are the best programs in the US, we must realize that not every student can attend any such program. Of course, there are many more colleges, that offer an education that is perhaps less renowned, but nevertheless solid and will train their students to become fine doctors, businessmen, teachers, and so on.
