Uniball Kuru Toga Roulette

I’ve mentioned before that I’m a sucker for all black pens and pencils, and this new Uniball Kuru Toga Roulette caught my attention a few weeks ago when it popped up on the new products page over at JetPens, although it is also available via Amazon.   I’ve already done an extensive Kuru Toga review, so I don’t know that i have much more to add to this one other than some ogling over the looks.

The Uniball Kuru Toga Roulette Knurled Grip

The bottom half of the Kuru Toga Roulette is black metal, and has a knurled grip, while the top half of the pencil body is a very dark gray plastic.  The three knurled rings of black metal help add some rugged looks and also give it a bit of extra grip.  The body design is pretty much the same as the high grade Kuru Toga, which I like because it is a nice evenly balanced weight even with its metal composition.

Uniball Kuru Toga Extra Erasers

In addition to being nearly all black, as you can see from the photo above, even the erasers are black.  Now the set of erasers you see here didn’t come with the Kuru Toga Roulette, but rather were purchased separately.  The pencil does come with one eraser and one of the metal housing clips that you see wrapped around two of them above.

There is no doubt that of my 3 other Kuru Toga mechanical pencils, this one is by far my favorite.  I dont know how they do it, but somehow the folks at Uniball made me feel like I had to have something that I already have three of…well done Uniball, well done.  You definitely wont regret grabbing your own from Amazon or JetPens.
