In some Volvo-related business news, Volvo Trucks Used Truck Department has opened its first dedicated Trade & Export Centre. The facility, which is located on Padstow Road, off Torrington Avenue, close to the A45, in the Tile Hill area of Coventry, offers trade and export buyers the opportunity to view a comprehensive stock of around 100 trucks.
Both Volvo and non-Volvo trucks are stocked and there is a workshop on the three acre site where Volvo trained technicians are carrying out vehicle preparation, upfits of equipment and repairs for customers.
Volvo Trucks Used Truck Director Peter Groome reports a brisk level of enquiries after business news spread: “We’re seeing a lot interest in the facility from both trade buyers and exporters. This is the first time we have had a dedicated location and we have room for future expansion here. We’ve got showroom, offices and workshop facilities all in one place now which makes it easier for customers to do business with us.”
“We need to be stronger on trade-ins on both Volvo and non-Volvo product,” says Peter Groome. “We’re actively buying Volvo and non-Volvo stock in the open market and this dedicated site helps provide the infrastructure to support our trade and export business.”
