Jennifer Aniston was thrown into stardom when she received the role of spoiled, but lovable, Rachel Green, on the hit TV series, Friends. Rachel wore a short, layered haircut that sparked a new trend and soon came to be known as “the Rachel”, which did not hurt Aniston’s claim to fame. Aniston has shown her versatility in roles better than most in her time under the spotlight. But, who is the real Jennifer Aniston?
Jenifer Aniston was born of February 11, 1969, in Sherman Oaks, California. Later her family was ready for a change and moved to New York, “The Big Apple”. In New York, Jen faced hardship. Her mother, Nancy Dow, and her father, John Aniston divorced. Jennifer resided with her mother until their relationship went downhill when her mother stated some unsatisfactory comments about Jen in a tabloid. The comment to the Tabloid inspired her mother to write a book about Jennifer titled “From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir” But, Aniston would not let this hold her down. Jennifer moved in with her father and had her first taste of acting at age 11. She joined the Rudolf Steiner School’s drama club. There she developed h
er passion for the art of acting. She began her professional training as a drama student at New York’s School of Performing Arts, aka the “Fame” school. Since then, she has had major leading roles in multi-million dollar films such as “Marley and Me”, “The Break Up”, and “Bruce Almighty”. Jen has little time for a person life with her busy work schedule. She decided to go off on a limb and start dating. She started dating another celebrity in the middle of the spotlight, Brad Pitt. In 2000, she made a decision to settle down, they got married. Unfortunately, their marriage was unsuccessful. After rumors of hear Brad had cheated on her with Angelina Jolie, while filming “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” Jen was tired of trying to make him happy.
It seems as through Jennifer Aniston’s sadness of the broken relationship; she was inspired then more than ever to throw herself into her career. She has dated many but only became serious with a few since, but has not yet had the courage to give her hand in marriage again, let alone bear children. Throughout all her hardships, she has handled herself with poise and class to the public. If she does not work hard to be the best in the industry, she sure does good job acting like it.
