Zebra Z-Mulsion EX RT Emulsion Assorted Colors
About a week ago I reviewed the standard versions of the Zebra Z-Mulsion RT 1.0MM pens, so this week we have something very similar in the Zebra Z-Mulsion EX RT 1.oMM pen. There really is not a huge difference between the two, it is really just a visual/design difference.
Zebra Z-Mulsion EX RT Emulsion Pink
As you can see from the first two photos of this pen, and if you compare it to the regular RT version of the pen (meaning not the EX RT) you will see that the only difference is in the chrome nose cone, clip, and plunger. The also come in 8 different colors:
- Black
- Blue
- Red
- Green
- Violet
- Light Blue
- Pink
- Orange
Each of the colors are pretty bright and bold, and they all perform just as well as their standard counterparts from the previous review. They write incredibly smoothly, and I didn’t experience any skipping or ink splotching with these other than a few minor skips when I first started out with them but that is expected and it went away after only a few strokes with the pen.
Zebra Z-Mulsion EX RT Emulsion Writing Sample
In the writing sample above you can see samples of each of the colors, which as I mentioned before are all quite vibrant. I’m not sure if the writing experience with these is so smooth because of the wide 1.0 mm tip, or if the design and emulsion (emulsion ink is a hybrid ballpoint / gel) ink make it that way, but either way they are definitely a pleasure to write with. I would definitely recommend the Zebra Z-Mulsion EX RT 1.oMM pen for any sort of multi-color pen situation that you need. These would be great for color coded note taking or even just a bit more advanced doodling to great way from the standard black, blue, red color selection.
